This substantial, rectangular serving tray, resting on ornate, ball and claw feet, exudes grandeur through its blend of engraved decoration and architectural form. The central plateau is deeply etched with an elaborate pattern of neoclassical scrollwork and foliate motifs surrounding a prominent, unadorned central cartouche, all enclosed by a contoured, scalloped rim.
