A polished, silver-plated multi-use scuttle, a scoop-shaped vessel on a raised pedestal base, designed for serving sugar, chocolate, flower decor or mints. The main body is distinctively decorated with fine hand-engraved scrolling ivy and star-shaped foliate motifs, and the interior is gold-washed. The scuttle features a simple, hinged bale handle and a decorative finial on the back, and is presented with a matching scoop engraved with the same pattern.
