- About the Brand
An undisputed icon of the historic Venetian glasshouse Venini, the Monofiore Balloton vase represents an exquisite synthesis of artisanal mastery and timeless design. Hand-blown in an intense sapphire blue glass, this spherical vessel features the house's signature flared collar top, designed specifically to display a single floral stem or stand alone as a sculptural accent.
The piece is defined by the traditional balloton technique, wherein hot glass is mouth-blown into a tailored metal mold studded with pyramid-shaped points. This process imprints a distinct cross-hatched, diamond-relief pattern into the glass matrix, capturing light across its faceted grid and creating a radiant optical refraction.
